St. Bonifacius, Minn. - Viking Volleyball had another successful night tonight in St. Bonifacius taking on Crown. Bethany took the Storm in three games and added another win to their record.

The squad stepped it up and passed very well, allowing lots of kills to be made for the Vikings. Vanessa Harkins (LeCenter, Minn./LeCenter) led the team with 11 kills, and Emily Schrupp (Norwood, Minn./Mayer Lutheran) and Amanda Edmison (Mayer, Minn./Watertown-Mayer) both added 10. Setter Nicole Jones (North Mankato, Minn./Mankato East) even added seven kills for the Vikings reading the court perfectly placing the ball where Crown's defense could not reach.

The first score of the night was 25-19, and the second and third were both 25-18. Bethany Lutheran was able to score 49 kills to Crown's 28, and despite 10 serving errors, they were still able to take the lead and keep it. The Vikings were ready to win again, and they showed it, coming out pumped up for each and every game, and going all the way until the whistle blew.

The Vikings will have a few days off before once again taking on Northland at home at 7 p.m. on Friday.
