Mankato, Minn. - The Bethany men's soccer team played St. Scholastica on Friday in Duluth, and fell to the Saints 1-0.

The Vikings took to the turf field to play the top ranked UMAC team. It was a lucky shot in the 24th minute of the game which resulted in St. Scholastica's only goal. The goal was made off a rebound, after the Vikings had fought hard to try to clear the ball away from the net.

The rest of the game they were able to hold the Saints on defense but couldn't get a goal of their own. Bethany Lutheran was out-shot by the Saints 25 to 6. 

The men will travel to Ashland, Wisconsin on Saturday to take on Northland.
