Northfield, Minn. - The Bethany Volleyball team traveled to St. Olaf for their invitational this Friday and Saturday. The team came away 1-3, with a single win against Presentation.

In the first match on Friday against St. Olaf, Bethany came out strong, almost taking the first game, however they were beaten when the Oles came back with a 9 point streak to win the game. After that, Bethany was unable to pull off another win.The second match was played against Hamline. Having the height that Bethany’s team lacked, the Vikings were unable to come away with a win.

Saturday night proved to be an easier time when the Vikings came out to win their first match against Presentation. With a new line up, and new energy, the girls played a very defensive game.
Macalaster was the last match of the night. The Vikings had a good run in the first game but didn’t pull out the win they wanted. The next two games the Vikings slowed down the pace a little and ended in another loss.

The team will host Bethel on Wednesday, September 8 at 7 p.m.
