Mankato, Minn. - Bethany Volleyball girls once again had a tough time going against the Northwestern Eagles Saturday afternoon. However they were able to play better than when they played at Northwestern earlier in the season. They lost in three games of 25-10, 25-14, 25-17.

The Vikings had trouble getting the ball past the Northwestern blockers, and also had trouble blocking. The Vikings only had 22 kills to Northwestern's 45. Kasslin Swenson (Nicollet, Minn./Nicollet) had a good offensive game hitting six kills, with a percentage of .556.

"We really need to work on our serves. That's one thing that's killing us," said a player of the six missed serves for the day.
The Eagles were able to ace the Vikings seven times on serves.

The next game for the Vikings will be on October 21, at 7 p.m. versus Northland in Ashland, Wisconsin.
