BLC men beat Martin Luther

Mankato, Minn. - The Bethany men's soccer team took on Martin Luther at home Tuesday night, winning the game 2-0. It is the second time BLC has beaten their friendly rivals from New Ulm this season.
 
Ryan Bolte (Colorado Springs, Colo./ Fountain Fort Carson) played an amazing game recording 11 saves on 19 shots. Bethany pressed the ball hard on offense, using counters and baseline drives to open up the middle of the field.
 
Joe Nuah (St. Paul, Minn. / Arlington) scored the first goal of the game in the first half off of an assist from CK Pock (Fairbault, Minn. / Fairbault). Jorge Perez (Colorado Springs, Colo. / Fountain Fort Carson) added a second goal off of an assist by Nuah with ten minutes to play in the game.
 
The Vikings will host UMAC rivals St. Scholastica and Northland this Friday and Saturday in Mankato.
 
The BLC men’s soccer team is now 3-6 in the UMAC and 5-9 overall on the season.
