Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Ashland, Wis. – The Vikings traveled to Northland for a doubleheader defeating the LumberJills 20-11 and then falling 6-8.
 
Game 1 (W 20-11)
Bethany’s bats were on fire in the first game logging a total of 20 hits. Ashley Jensen (Delano, Minn./West Lutheran) went four for six recording three runs and three RBI. Jensen had a double as did Gena Chester (Mankato, Minn./Mankato West) who went three for six with two runs and two RBI. Emily Rauchman (Mankato, Minn./Mankato West) went three for four also hitting a double and adding a home run. She had four runs and two RBI. Rebecca Ludewig (Mankato, Minn./Mankato West) also had a double and a home run.
 
Rauchman pitched the full game for the Vikings. She allowed 11 runs on 13 hits, nine of which were earned. She struck out two batters and walked five.
 
Bethany left nine on base and had two errors in the field. Northland left seven on base and committed seven errors in the field.
 
Game 2 (L 6-8)
Pitching the second game for the Vikings was Amanda Edmison (Mayer, Minn./Watertown-Mayer). In six innings she allowed 12 hits and eight runs. She struck out two batters and walked one.
 
Chester and Edmison each had a home run. Edmison went two for four. Ludewig continued a strong day going two for three; both of her hits were doubles.
 
Bethany had a total of nine hits and didn’t commit any errors in the field. The Vikings left six on base. Northland left five on base and had three errors in the field
 
Next, the Vikings will take on St. Scholastica on April 14th at 1 p.m. for a conference doubleheader.
