Box Score MORRIS, Minn. - Bethany Lutheran and Minn.-Morris met in a key UMAC men's soccer matchup Friday afternoon in Morris. The Vikings and Cougars came into the match in a 3-way tie for second place at 6-2 along with Northwestern. After Friday's action, it was Minn.-Morris who would came away with the upper hand as they topped Bethany for the second time this season 2-0.

After no scoring in the first half, the Cougars got the first goal on the board in the 54th minute. Matt Vik scored off a feed from Shingo Yamane. Minn.-Morris iced the game in the 76th minute when Momodou Jallow scored off a free kick from 20 yards out.

Minn.-Morris outshot Bethany 20-6 in the match with both goalie's (BLC's Noah Heidorn and UMM's Matthew Yost each recording two saves.

The Vikings will look to get back in the win column Saturday for a 2:15 p.m. match at Crown.
