Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran College men's soccer team entered Friday's game looking to rebound after having lost their last two games, but the College of St. Scholastica's two goals in the first ten minutes was too much for the Vikings to overcome, falling to the Saints in a mist-soaked game 6-0.
The Saints' Joe Watt and Andrew Jenkins scored in the ninth and tenth minutes, respectively, to jump the Saints out to an early 2-0 lead. Watt added another goal in the 27th minute and Jenkins tapped in the cross from teammate Sean Morgan in the 31st minute to put the Saints up 4-0 at the half.
Vikings sophomore
Jason Buechler had his shot saved by Saints' goalkeeper Adam Hewitt in the 53rd minute and St. Scholastica was able to punch in another goal in the 61st minute. Joe Watt completed the hat trick with his third goal in the 66th minute, putting the his team up 6-0 to secure the win for the Saints.

Laye Kaba and
Ryan Stob each also had shots on goal for the Vikings. Senior goalkeeper
Noah Heidorn had nine saves in the game for Bethany.
The Vikings next will take on the Northland College Lumberjacks in a UMAC matchup Saturday at 12 pm at the BLC Soccer Field.
