Box Score DULUTH, Minn. - The Bethany volleyball team was looking to give Vikings fans a victory Friday night against St. Scholastica after the Saints had beaten both soccer teams earlier in the day. They weren't able to come through though as they fell to the Saints in straight sets.
Bethany was only able to hold three leads in the match and those came really early in each of the first two sets.
Kasslin Swenson,
Caitlin Decker, and
Kristen Mielke each had four kills to lead BLC.
Miranda Krenske totaled 11 assists.
Jessi Jurries had ten digs and
Emily Franzen delivered a pair of service aces.
The Vikings (3-15, 2-3 in UMAC) stay along the shores of Lake Superior Saturday to take on Northland at 1 p.m.
