Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - A scoreless first half turned into a shootout as the Vikings were able to outscore Crown in its home opener on Friday.

Six different Bethany players scored in the second half as the Vikings defeated the Storm 6-2 to remain undefeated in UMAC play.

Bethany didn't waste any time getting on the scoreboard in the second half. Less than a minute in, Jorge Perez scored with the assist from Jason Buechler. After Crown even the score at one, Michael Loguercio put Bethany back on top with help from Benjamin Moldstad in the game's 55th minute. Moldstad added the eventual game-winner in the 63rd minute to put Bethany up 3-1.

Ryan Behmer, Laye Kaba, and Dave Roemhildt all added late goals.

The Vikings are back on the home pitch Saturday for a noon start with Minn.-Morris.
