The Vikings saved their best for last as they took on St Catherine in the fourth and final game of the tournament. After losing 3-0 last year to St. Catherine, Bethany had a little revenge in mind. It didn't look as if a victory was in store for Bethany initially, as St Catherine took a two-set lead after beating the Vikings 25-13 and 25-11. It was evident that the Vikings weren't going to go down quietly, however, as they reeled off two straight set wins by the scores of 25-18 and 25-23 to even the match. In the fifth and final set, the Vikings were able to complete the comeback by winning the set 16-14 and winning the match 3-2. Junior
Kasslin Swenson had a tournament high 14 kills for the Vikings, and
Miranda Krenske was named to the Hamline All-Tournament Team.
