Box Score MORRIS, Minn. - Bethany tried to make it two in a row Saturday, the Minn.-Morris thwarted any hopes of that with a 2-0 shutout of the Vikings in a UMAC men's soccer matchup.

The two teams squared off to a tie earlier this season in Mankato and 60 minutes into the match, they seemed destined to do so again. The Cougars though broke through with a goal in the 65th minute off the foot of Luqman Barre. They would add an insurance goal in the 80th minute when Zachary Jacobson scored off a corner kick.

Two more games remain in the regular season with Bethany (5-11-2, 5-5-2 in UMAC) in the thick of the playoff chase. They travel to Northwestern Friday, a team they're challenging with for that final spot.
