Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - The Vikings pulled away late in the first set and continue to cruise the rest of the way as they swept three sets from North Central Friday in a UMAC volleyball matchup.
The Rams led Bethany 14-11 in the first before the Vikings closed the set on a 14-3 run that culminated with a kill from
Morgan Wenninger.
The second and third sets were easily controlled by Bethany from the start as they won 25-17, 25-14, 25-12.
Bethany honored seven seniors who are playing in their final home contests of their careers Friday night and Saturday:
Jessi Jurries, Emily Franzen, Caitlin Decker, Allie Van Hee, Katie Krieger,
Amanna Berthusen, and
Steph Koepp.
Those seniors factored into the final stats: Franzen had 24 assists and 11 digs, Jurries led with 14 digs, and Berthusen totaled 13 kills.
Bethany (7-18, 6-7 in UMAC) finishes the season Saturday with a home match against Northwestern Saturday at 1 p.m.
