MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The most successful season in the NCAA Division III era of Bethany men's tennis came to an end Friday night as Northwestern defeated the Vikings in the UMAC semifinals at the Baseline Tennis Center.

The Eagles beat the Vikings 8-1. Bethany's lone win came at No. 3 doubles with Zach Carlson and Paul Riediger topping Cole Grastro and Chris Carlberg 9-7.

Northwestern swept the singles matches. Carlson had the closest match falling in a third set tiebreak 10-7.

Bethany finishes the season with a 6-12 overall record.
