Box Score MANKATO, Minn. - Wisconsin Lutheran scored two late goals to pull away from Bethany Sunday in a non-conference men's soccer matchup at BLC Soccer Field.
After only one goal was scored in the first half, three goals in a seven minute span early in the second half helped determine the winner. WLC's Jake Semmann scored his fourth goal of the season on a header in the 50th minute to put the Warriors up 2-0. The Vikings cut the deficit in half in the 54th minute when
Adam Kluball scored on a penalty kick in the lower right corner of the net. In the 57th minute, however, Wisconsin Lutheran put their lead back up to two when Austin Drake scored his second goal of the game to go up 3-1.
Semmann added another goal in the 86th minute to make the final 4-1. Semmann had a monster day with two goals and two assists.
Bethany (0-4) next plays Wednesday at Saint Mary's.
