MINNEAPOLIS - Both the men's and women's tennis played two matches Saturday at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis. The men lost to Buena Vista 7-2 and to Hamline 9-0. The women fell to UW-Stout 6-3 and to Hamline 8-1.

Brent Heflin andÂ
Carter Dahl came away winners at No. 3 and No. 4 singles respectively against Buena Vista. Heflin won in straight sets, including a first set tiebreaker. Dahl only lost two games in winning his match easily.
Buena Vista 7, Bethany 2Against Hamline,Â
Jason Buechler came the closest to victory. He lost his match at No. 4 singles in the third set.
Hamline 9, Bethany 0For the women,Â
Rachel Rosemore was a two-time winner. She won her No. 2 singles match with Ellen Miller of UW-Stout 7-6, 6-0 and gave the Vikings their lone win against the Pipers by defeating Emily Butler at No. 1 singles in a tiebreaking third set. She was close to getting two more victories in No. 1 doubles withÂ
Morgan Schwarz. The duo lost 8-6 against UW-Stout and 8-5 against Hamline.
UW-Stout 6, Bethany 3Danielle Belisle gave Bethany their other win at No. 6 singles against Makenzie Williams of UW-Stout, winning in a third set tiebreak.
Hamline 8, Bethany 1The women are off until March 21 while the men take on Simpson and Ripon Saturday in Owatonna.
