The Bethany men's and women's tennis teams began the spring portion of their schedule Friday with indoor, non-conference matchups at Saint Mary's. The men played again Saturday against UW-Eau Claire in Owatonna.
The men lost to both Saint Mary's and UW-Eau Claire 9-0.
Carter Dahl came the closest to victory at No. 4 singles. He lost the first set against SMU's Blake Olmscheid, fought back to earn a second set win in a tiebreak, but fell in the third set 10-3.

Brent Heflin lost their match 8-4.
UW-Eau Claire 9, Bethany men 0Friday, at No. 2 singles,
Alicia Kranz fell to Katie Krull of SMU 6-2, 6-3.
Saint Mary's 9, Bethany women 0The women are back in action Saturday at Macalester while the men hit the courts a week from Sunday against Loras and Wartburg in Waverly, Iowa.
