MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany volleyball team returned to their home floor on Tuesday night for the first time in over a week. The Vikings hosted an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference match against the Storm from Crown. The Vikings defeated the Storm for the third time this season by a score of 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-14).

HIGHLIGHTS FOR THE VIKINGS:

- Megan Rutt (Le Center, Minn.) led the Vikings with 18 kills on the night
- Kristen Mielke (New Germany, Minn.) was second on the team with nine kills.
- Jasmine Carlson (Windom, Minn.) recorded 35 assists for the Vikings.
- Anna Nelson (Cannon Falls, Minn.) amassed 21 digs in the win.
- In the win, the Vikings recorded their highest attacking efficiency on the year with an attack percentage of .292

On Saturday, October 22
nd the Vikings will host UW-Superior for a conference match. The junior varsity match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. followed by the varsity match at 3 p.m.
