MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.  – The Bethany volleyball team punched their ticket into the 2016 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Postseason Tournament with their road victory over North Central on Wednesday night. The Vikings defeated the Rams in three sets (25-19, 25-22, and 25-16).

Megan Rutt (Le Center, Minn.) and
Rebekka Olsen (Mankato, Minn.) sparked the attack for Bethany with 13 and nine kills respectively.
Kristen Mielke (New Germany, Minn.) and
Rachel Sorensen (Windom, Minn.) added six kills apiece in the postseason clinching match.

Jasmine Carlson (Windom, Minn.) finished with 28 set assists and nine digs. Also,
Anna Nelson (Cannon Falls, Minn.) contributed with 14 digs.

Up Next:
The Vikings will now travel to Storm Lake, Iowa for their final regular season match against Buena Vista University. The match will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The Postseason Tournament will begin on Monday, October 31
st when the Vikings take on an opponent yet to be determined on the road at 7 p.m.
