Box Score 2 Softball Team Concludes Play in Florida
FORT MYERS, Fla. – The Bethany Softball team wrapped up play in Florida on Thursday with games against Dominican University and Olivet College. The Vikings will travel back to Minnesota on Friday.

Game One: Dominican University 11, Bethany Lutheran 1; five inningsThe Dominican Stars entered the contest against the Vikings with a 5-2 overall record on the season while the Vikings came in at 2-6. The Stars scored runs in every inning while only giving up one hit against the Vikings to earn the victory.
Magen Meyer (Spring Valley, Minn.) recorded the lone hit for Bethany while
Christina Wickingson (Mason, Wis.) suffered the loss for the Vikings on the rubber.

Game Two: Olivet College 15, Bethany Lutheran 2; five inningsIn the final game played in Florida for the Softball team, the Vikings fell to Olivet College, who improves to 9-1 this season. Bethany collected six hits on the afternoon, while scoring runs in the third and fifth inning of play.
