ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. – In Upper Midwest Athletic Conference softball, the Vikings traveled to Crown College on Tuesday to take on the Storm. Bethany dropped both games in the doubleheader, 10-0 and 5-1.

Game One: Crown College 10, Bethany Lutheran 0
Anna Pipenhagen (Elk River, Minn.) collected two hits as the Vikings three hitter to make-up the offensive attack in game one.
Christina Wickingson (Mason, Wis.) earned the start for the Vikings on the mound. The junior gave up six hits and one earned run in three innings of work. Defensive miscues help the Storm to an implosive third inning, resulting in nine runs.

Game Two: Crown College 5, Bethany Lutheran 1
Starting pitcher,
Anna Pipenhagen struck out seven batters in 4.1 innings of work, while only giving up one earned run in the efforts against the Storm. Crown's pitcher held the Vikings hitless throughout the contest.
