Vikings Drop Conference Matches Against Eagles

 
MANKATO, Minn. – On Friday, the Bethany men's and women's tennis teams played an Upper Midwest Athletic Conference match against the Northwestern Eagles. Both matches featured teams who have clinched a berth in the 2016 UMAC postseason tournament.
 
Women's Tennis:
Northwestern 9, Bethany Lutheran 0
The women's team fell to the Eagles, who currently stand at 8-1 in the UMAC portion of the season.
 
Men's Tennis:
Northwestern 7, Bethany Lutheran 2
On the men's side of things, it was the Eagles coming out on top in the match against the Vikings. Earning their respective victories in singles competition was Dalton Werckman (Foley, Minn.) and Jason Buechler (Kasson, Minn.).
