MANKATO, Minn.  – The Bethany volleyball team returned to their home floor on Monday to face St. Olaf in a non-conference match in the Sports and Fitness Center. The Vikings dropped a tough match to the Oles by a score of 3-1 (27-29, 14-25, 25-19, 30-32).

Megan Rutt (Le Center, Minn.) and
Rebekka Olsen (North Mankato, Minn.) led the Vikings with 13 and 11 kills respectively.
Jasmine Carlson (Windom, Minn.) was the assist leader for the Vikings with 22 on the night, while
Allyson Lauer (Maplewood, Minn.) was just behind her with 16. The Vikings had many players with multiple digs tonight but
Mackenna Hinz (Burnsville, Minn.) and
Rachel Sorensen (Windom, Minn.) led the team with 13 and 10 respectively.

The Vikings will look to build on tonight's performance when they head to North Central in Minneapolis on Friday and Saturday to participate in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Preview. Bethany will begin play on Friday night at 7 p.m. against Northland. The Vikings will conclude play on Saturday with matches against North Central and Crown.
