MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.  – The women's soccer team played a non-conference soccer contest on Wednesday evening against the Augsburg Auggies, a member of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC). The Auggies defeated the Vikings by a final score of 6-1.
 
Freshman Rachel Bitter (Bemidji, Minn.) continued her impressive season by scoring the only goal for Bethany in the 52^nd minute. The forward now has six goals in six games played thus far this season. The Vikings attempted six total shots during the 90 minutes of play against Augsburg.

On Saturday, the Vikings will begin the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference section of their schedule when they play host to the Rams from North Central. The game is set to begin at 2 p.m. at the BLC Soccer Field.
