MANKATO, Minn.  – After falling to Martin Luther in five sets on Tuesday, the Bethany volleyball team continued Upper Midwest Athletic Conference play on Friday night at home against St. Scholastica. The Vikings were defeated by the Saints by a score of 3-0.
                                                                        
On the attack, Megan Rutt (Le Center, Minn.) led Bethany with 11 total kills, while she was followed by Kristen Mielke (New Germany, Minn.) who had eight. Jasmine Carlson (Windom, Minn.) led the Vikings in assists with 21, and Anna Nelson (Cannon Falls, Minn.) led the Vikings with 12 digs.
 
Up next:
On October 4^th the Vikings will travel to Northwestern to play the Eagles in a UMAC contest followed by a non-conference match against St. Catherine. Match times are set for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
