MANKATO, Minn. – The Bethany women's soccer team (3-8, 2-4) lost 5-0 to the University of Northwestern (5-5-1, 5-0-1) on a chilly Wednesday night.
Under the lights and on a clear night with a full moon, the Vikings and Eagles did battle against one another. The Eagles struck quickly with four goals in a 15-minute span in the first half. Two of those came from sophomore Linley Norman.
The Vikings settled down in the second half, keeping the score even, until the Eagles pushed another one though late in the game. The loss snaps the Vikings three-game win streak.
Up Next: The Vikings head to Morris to play the Cougars on Saturday, October 7. Game time is set for 1 PM.
