MORRIS, Minn. – Ten days ago, the Bethany women's soccer team defeated Morris when Nicole Moldstad's free kick from 30 yards away found the back of the net with less than a minute to play. The Cougars played the game today with a different mindset on their home field, defeating the Vikings soundly 6-0.
 
The two teams played back and forth for about the first 20 minutes, but then Morris put home their first goal in the 22nd minute. The first goal was enough to get the momentum swinging in favor of the Cougars and 16 minutes later they scored their second goal. Four minutes later, the Cougars had added two more goals to their total, taking a 4-0 lead into halftime.  
 
The Vikings weren't able to turn the tide in the second half and the Cougars added two more goals, winning by a final score of 6-0. The Cougars outshot the Vikings 21-7 with 11 shots on goal compared to three for the Vikings. The Vikings gave themselves a few chances in the game, generating five corner kicks. Nicole Moldstad led the the Vikings with two shots total, one on goal. Averi Cash made five saves.
