STORM LAKE, IA – The Bethany volleyball team (7-14) fell to the Beavers of Buena Vista University (11-9) by a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-16).
 
The Beavers tallied 41 kills total in the match while the Vikings had 20. Megan Rutt was the kill leader for BLC with eight, followed by Alannah Menk with five, and Rachel Sorensen with three. Buena Vista had eight service aces in the match compared to two for the Vikings. Jasmine Carlson led the Vikings in assists with 16. Anna Nelson had 14 digs for BLC and Veeva Lee added eight.
 
Up Next: The Vikings hit the road again on Saturday, October 7 for a UMAC match against Superior. The match will begin at 3 PM.
