MANKATO, Minn. – Following the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) sweep of Martin Luther this past Wednesday, the Bethany Lutheran softball team returned to the BLC Softball Field on Saturday afternoon with a conference doubleheader against St. Scholastica.

- College of St. Scholastica 3, Bethany Lutheran 0
- Overall Record: St. Scholastica 10-10 (4-0 in UMAC), Bethany Lutheran 8-18 (2-4 in UMAC)
GAME ONE: In game one of the doubleheader the Vikings fell to the Saints by a score of 2-0. The Vikings were outhit by the Saints by a margin of ten to four.
Cindy Pawlitschek (St. Paul, Minn.) led the Vikings on offensive by recording two hits.
Anna Pipenhagen (Elk River, Minn.) went the distance in the circle, giving up just one earned run while recording 13 strikeouts in the game.
GAME TWO: Game two went in a similar fashion with the Vikings falling by a score of 3-0. In game two
Christina Wickingson (Mason, Wis.) pitched all seven innings and recorded seven strikeouts while giving up eight hits. Pipenhagen tallied the lone hit for the Vikings in the second game.
