PAUL, Minn. - The Bethany Lutheran men's tennis team (10-12) will open up play in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Tournament Friday in Minneapolis, as the No. 3-seeded Vikings will take on the University the Northwestern (10-15), who is the No. 2 seed. First serve from the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Vikings finished the 2017 UMAC schedule with a 4-4 mark, suffering losses to the top two seeds in St. Scholastica and Northwestern. The semifinal match should be an exciting one as Northwestern narrowly defeated Bethany Lutheran 5-4 in their first meeting of the season.
