MANKATO, Minn – The Vikings women's soccer team (0-5, 0-2) lost their second conference
game to St. Scholastica by a score of 4-1.
The Saints controlled possession of the ball early on with the first goal scored by sophomore midfielder Jordan
Lundberg. Eight minutes later, the Vikings responded with their first goal by senior forward
Nicole Moldstad. The teams went to half tied at 1-1.
The Saints scored three goals in the second half, putting constant pressure on senior goalkeeper
Averi Cash of the Vikings. She did make nine saves in the contest. Two of the goals for the Saints were scored
by sophomore forward Becca Rancour.
Up Next: The Vikings play their next game Tuesday, September 19 against Central in a non-
conference game in Pella, Iowa.
