ASHLAND, Wis. – The Bethany men's soccer team began a two-day road trip at Northland College on Saturday. The Vikings (1-6, 0-3) dropped the UMAC game to Northland (2-5, 1-2) by a score of 2-0.
Northland scored both goals in the first half at the 27 minute mark and the 42 minute mark. Northland tallied 15 total shots in the first half while the Vikings were only able to record two tries.
The Viking offense picked up the pace in the second half with nine shots compared to only three for Northland. It wasn't enough, however, as the Vikings were unable to get any shots to the back of the net. In the game, the Vikings held the advantage in corner kicks.
