ASHLAND, Wis. – The Bethany women's soccer team began a two-day road trip at Northland College on Saturday. The Vikings (0-7, 0-3) dropped the UMAC game to Northland (2-3-2, 1-0-2) by a score of 4-1.
Northland scored three goals in the first half, two of them coming off penalty kicks. Northland took an early 9-2 advantage in total shots over the Vikings in the first half.
Northland added one more goal to their total in the 75th minute for a 4-0 lead. The Vikings continued to fight and Nicole Moldstad put a goal on the scoreboard for BLC in the 84th minute. The goal for Moldstad was her fifth of the season.
Northland finished with 17 total shots, 10 on goal. Bethany finished with five total shots, all of them on net.
