PELLA, Iowa – The men's soccer team traveled to Pella, Iowa over Labor Day to take on the Dutch of Central College. The Dutch brought a 1-0 record into the contest and moved to 2-0 after beating the Vikings by a score of 7-0.
 
It took only five minutes for the Dutch to find the back of the net and take a 1-0 lead. They would add four more goals before the end of the half while the Vikings couldn't find their stride.
 
The Vikings took nine shots total in the game, two on goal, compared to the Dutch who were able to get off 32 shots with eight on goal.
 
Up Next: The Vikings fall to 0-2 on the season and will look to pick up their first win on Sunday, September 10 when they travel to Ripon College. That game is scheduled for a 2 PM start.
