MANKATO, Minn. – Today's game between the Vikings and Rams was very important for the UMAC postseason tournament. The Vikings and Rams finished their game today with a 0-0 tie in double-overtime. As a result, the Vikings remain in 5th place in the standings and they are now tied with Crown College at 9 points. The Rams are in 6th place with 8 points.
The Vikings fired off 13 total shots today with six shots on goal.
Diego Meza-Palmer,
Samuel Duran, and
Vincent Ayodi each tallied two shots for the Vikings. The Rams took eight shots in today's game, but were not able to get anything past goalkeeper
Josiah Hoisington who helped the Vikings to a shutout while making three saves.
Up Next: The Vikings play at Northland College in Ashland, WI on Saturday, October 13th at 1 PM. The Vikings will be looking for a win as the Lumberjacks are currently 0-6 in the league.
