Mankato, MN. – The Bethany Lutheran College Vikings men's soccer team lost to Crown College 0-2 in their sixth home game of the season. The loss move the Vikings record to 6-6-3 and their UMAC record to 3-4-3.
The Vikings played aggressive from the start, recording 5 shots and 2 shots on goal in the first 20 minutes of the game. However, neither team were able to score until late in the second period; when Crown scored goals in the 67th and 69th minutes. The Vikings had 20 shots and 5 shots on goal compared to Crown's 11 shots and 7 shots on goal. The Vikings also recorded 5 corner kicks to Crown's 3.
The Vikings were led by
Vincent Ayodi with 5 shots and 1 shot on goal, and
Luis Gandara and Victor Gonzalez both had 3 shots and 1 shot on goal.
