Mankato, MN.  – Vikings women soccer picked up their 8th win of the season against Crown College, with a 4-0 victory. The win moves the Vikings record to 8-7 and their UMAC record to 5-5.
 
The Vikings came out on the offensive right away, having recorded 3 corner kicks, 12 shots, and 4 shots on goal in the first 20 minutes. However, Crown's defense held strong at first, keeping the game scoreless at the end of the first period. The second period began the same way, but the Vikings then scored four quick goals in the 71st, 80th, 81st, and 89th minute. The Vikings ended the game with 42 shots and 19 shots on goal compared with Crown's 6 shots and 2 on goal.
 
The Vikings were led by Bailey Bakken 14 shots, 8 shots on goal, and 2 goals and Madison Perry with 13 shots and 3 assists.
 
Up next: The Vikings will face the Finlandia University Tigers on Saturday, October 20th in Mankato, MN at 2:15 P.M.
