Mankato, MN. – The Bethany Lutheran College women's soccer team fell to the University of Minnesota, Morris Cougars 2-3, which puts their record at 5-7 and their UMAC record at 2-5.
The Cougars moved quickly, scoring their first goal in the 19th minute. Then, they scored two more goals in the 44th and the 48th minute. The Vikings began to make a comeback when
Madison Perry scored goals in the 56th and 73rd minute, but they were unable to cap it off losing 2-3. The game was close to the end however, with the Cougars shooting 12 shots and 10 on goal and the Vikings had 13 shots and 10 shots on goal.
The Vikings were led by
Madison Perry with 4 shots that were all on goal and 2 goals.
Bailey Bakken also had 5 shots and 3 shots on goal.
