Box Score 2 DUNDAS, Minn. - On Saturday, the Bethany Lutheran Softball team dropped a pair of contests to the St. Olaf Oles. The Vikings dropped the first contest to the Oles by a score of 7-0 and the second by a score of 7-1.
In game one the Vikings offense faltered after a good start yesterday as St. Olaf pitcher Julie Graf held the Vikings to two hits and struck out 14. The two hits by the Vikings were recorded by freshman
Eden Ambrose and
Taylor Kottke. Senior
Anna Pipenhagen started on the hill for the Vikings and went the distance allowing just two earned runs and striking out seven.
In game two the Vikings scored in the first inning when
Kaylee Mork delivered a hit and a three batters later Kottke recorded another hit with an RBI to bring Mork home.
Isabella Lattery recorded the only other hit in the contest for the Vikings.
Up Next: The Vikings will head to Tucson, Arizona where they will play eight games from March 5th to March 9th.
