Box Score Owatonna, Minn. – The Bethany Vikings (0-3) had their hands full on Friday evening and lost to the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds (3-0) at the Owatonna tennis center, 9-0.
 
Laine Larson (Long Prairie, Minn./Junior) played the top singles spot for the Vikings. He was followed by Dalton Werckman (Foley, Minn./Junior), Carter Dahl (Albert Lea, Minn./Junior), Dexter Jackson (Chicago, Ill./Senior), Jordan Poff (Blaine, Minn./Junior), and Kenny Johnson (Otsego, Minn./Freshman) at two through six respectively.
 
Larson and Jackson were each able to get a few games off their opponents in their singles matches, but lost by a final score of 6-2, 6-1.
 
Laine Larson and Dalton Werckman played the top doubles spot for the Vikings and lost to their opponent by a score of 8-2. Carter Dahl and Dexter Jackson played in the number two doubles position and lost by a score of 8-1.
 
Up Next: The Vikings play Martin Luther and Simpson College in non-conference matches on Saturday, February 10th beginning at 2 PM at Life Time Fitness in Lakeville, Minn.
