Box Score Owatonna, Minn. – The BLC men's tennis was back in action after a couple weeks off. The Vikings were strong and smashed the Mount Marty College Lancers by a score of 9-0.
 
The Vikings showed up ready to play against the Lancers of Mount Marty. The Vikings won all of their singles matches in straight sets. Laine Larson led the way at number one singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win. Dalton Werckman won 6-1, 6-4 at the second spot, Carter Dahl won 6-1, 7-5 at number three, Dexter Jackson made quick work of his opponent with scores of 6-1, 6-0 at four, Jordan Poff won 6-3, 6-4 at five, and Kenny Johnson won 6-1, 7-5 at six.
 
The Vikings dominated on the doubles side as well. Laine Larson and Dalton Werckman got their fourth win of the season as a duo. Carter Dahl and Dexter Jackson won by a score of 8-2 and Jordan Poff and Kenny Johnson earned their first win of the season as a pair by a score of 8-4.
 
Up Next: The Vikings swing into UMAC play next weekend against North Central. The Vikings and Rams will play Saturday, March 24 at 5 PM in Fridley, Minn. at Lifetime Fitness.
