Box Score SUPERIOR, Wis. – The BLC men's tennis team had a quick turnaround today. The Vikings defeated MLC late last night in Lakeville and then hit the road for a 3 PM match today in Superior. The Yellowjackets got the best of the Vikings, defeating them 6-3.
 
The Vikings and Yellowjackets battled tough in their doubles matches. Laine Larson and Dalton Werckman won at #1 doubles, defeating their opponent 8-5. At #2 doubles, Carter Dahl and Dexter Jackson fought hard, but lost their first doubles match of the UMAC season 9-8 (7-3). Jordan Poff and Kenny Johnson also came close, but lost 9-7 at #3.
 
The two wins in singles came from Dalton Werckman at #2 and Carter Dahl at #3. Werckman defeated his opponent 6-4, 6-3 and Dahl won a three-set battle 6-7 (7-2), 6-2, 10-8. Dexter Jackson lost to his opponent in three sets.
 
Up Next: The Vikings are scheduled to finish the regular season at home against Northwestern on Wednesday, April 25. Matches are set to begin at 4:30 PM.
