Box Score 2 St. Peter, Minn. - The men's tennis team returned to action on Saturday to take on St. Scholastica and Crown. The Vikings dropped their first match of the day to the Saints by a score of 8-1 before they took down the Storm later in the day by a tally of 9-0.
In their match against St. Scholastica the lone win for the Vikings came from the tandem of
Carter Dahl and
Dexter Jackson at the two doubles spot. In singles action
Kenny Johnson played his match to a tiebreak before dropping the final set. In match number two the Vikings managed a clean sweep winning every spot. All six singles for Bethany managed healthy wins while the three doubles teams took home wins as well.
Laine Larson and
Dalton Werckman won by a score a 8-4 at the number one doubles spot,
Dahl and
Jackson took a 8-2 victory at the two doubles spot and
Jordan Poff and
Johnson managed to win 8-0 at the three doubles spot.Â
UP NEXT: The Vikings will travel to Lakeville to once again take on Crown College in nonconference action on Saturday, April 14th with a scheduled start time of 4 PM.
