FOREST CITY, Iowa – The BLC women's soccer team (0-1) started their 2018 season with a 1-0 loss to Waldorf University (1-2).
Freshman forward
Bailey Bakken put the first shot on net for the Vikings just a few minutes into the game. Bakken led the Vikings with six shots in the game, all of them on goal. Sophomore forward
Madison Perry took four shots in the game. In total, the Vikings peppered the Warrior defense with 18 shots, half of those on goal. The Vikings also collected six corner kicks.
The Viking defense limited the Warriors to just two shots in the game. Only one of those shots was on goal and it slid past goalkeeper
Mindy Meske about 20 minutes into action.
