Storm Lake, IA.  – The Bethany Lutheran College Vikings Men's soccer team beat the Buena Vista University Beavers in OT 1-0. The win moves the Viking's record to 4-2-1.
 
The Vikings and the Beavers went back and forth throughout the regulation period, however neither team was able to score a goal in regulation. At the end of regulation the Vikings had 9 shots and 5 on goal compared to 12 shots and 8 on goal. With 1:37 left in the OT period, the Buena Vista goalie batted the ball before knocking it into his own goal.The game ended with the Vikings up 1-0.
 
Nikita Pyatetskiy led the Vikings with 3 shots and 1 on goal, and Wesley Shade also had a good outing with 2 shots and 1 on goal.
 
Up Next: The Vikings go to St. Bonifacius, MN to face Crown College on Saturday, September 22nd at 1:30 P.M.
