Mankato, MN. – The Bethany Lutheran College women's soccer team beat the Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles 2-1, which moves the Vikings record to 4-4.
The game went back and forth without either team scoring. Then, in the 19th minute,
Bailey Bakken scored a goal after an assist from
Madison Perry. Then, in the 50th minute, Faith scored to tie the game up 1-1. With the game winding down,
Bailey Bakken scored off of another assist from
Madison Perry during the 81st minute. The Viking's won the game 2-1. winning in most of the stat categories. They shot 24 times with 11 on goal compared to Faith's 7 shots with 7 on goal and Bethany had 10 corner kicks to Faith's 2.
The Vikings were led by
Bailey Bakken with 13 shots and 6 on goal and
Madison Perry with 2 assists.
