MANKATO, Minn.—Junior Maddie Perry (Anoka, Minn.) became the Bethany Lutheran women's soccer career leader in game-winning goals Saturday. She now has 10 which surpasses the nine set by Emmy Breuer in 2006-08.
Perry also tied the single season game record with her four scores in the 4-2 win over Northland (1-11, 1-4). This was also previously accomplished by Emmy Breuer at Presentation on Oct. 21, 2006.
Perry gave the Vikings the early 1-0 lead with her goal just four minutes into the contest. The LumberJills would even the game with their first goal at 35:59 to make it 1-1 heading into halftime.
Northland jumped ahead four minutes into the second half before Perry took over.
The total shots were even at 12 each and Northland owned the advantage in corner kicks, 9-1.
