Box Score MANKATO, Minn.—The Bethany Lutheran volleyball team (9-15 overall, 2-4 UMAC) was swept 3-0 (25-11,25-14, 25-23) by UW-Superior (12-15, 4-2) Saturday.

The Yellowjackets took the early lead in the first two frames. UWS had to fight back in the third set as BLC led 16-13 and again later at 20-18. The frame was tied three times after that, which included at 22 all. The Yellowjackets took advantage of two BLC attack errors and a UWS kill to seal the win.

Senior Megan Rutt (Le Center, Minn.) led all hitters with 11 kills. Junior Brittany Sanders (St. James, Minn.) had 18 assists and senior Veeva Lee (St. Paul) had 15 digs.

The Vikings continue their three-game road trip Tuesday at Crown at 7 p.m.
