MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (10-5 overall, 3-2 UMAC) opens a two-game road swing when it travels to face North Central (3-12, 1-4) Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. The Vikings are third in the conference standings while the Rams are eighth.

The Series
The Vikings owns the lead at 14-5-2 as the programs have met at least once a season since 2008. This includes the nonconference meeting earlier this season on Sept. 21 where BLC won 1-0.
Bethany Lutheran
Freshman Max Busch (
Odenthal, Germany) leads the team with 18 goals and two assists for 38 points. Classmates Marcel Campabadal (
Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia, Spain) and Joao Bastos (Piracicaba, Brazil) follow with seven goals. Freshman Luke Oosterbosch (
Veldhoven, The Netherlands) has five goals and a team-best 14 assists.
Senior Moritz Bruns (Leer, Germany) has a .714 save percentage, seven wins, and three shutouts.

Bruns is second in goalkeeper wins (9), fifth in shutouts (4) and ninth in saves (93). Senior Samuel Duran (Marshall, Minn.) is the career leader in penalty kicks (5), tied for fifth in assists (10), seventh in goals (15) and points (40).
