MANKATO, Minn.-- The Bethany Lutheran men's soccer team (11-5-1 overall, 4-2-1 UMAC) concludes the regular season when it hosts Northwestern (4-13-1, 3-4) Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The Vikings are third in the conference standings while the Eagles are tied for fourth. BLC has clinched a berth in the UMAC conference tournament.

The Series
UNW leads 17-6-4 as the teams have met at least once every season since 2004. The Vikings won the nonconference match earlier this season 5-2.

Bethany Lutheran
Freshman Max Busch (Odenthal, Germany) leads the team with 23 goals and three assists for 49 points. Classmates Marcel Campabadal (Vilassar de Mar, Catalonia, Spain) and Joao Bastos (Piracicaba, Brazil) follow with nine and eight goals, respectively. Freshman Luke Oosterbosch (Veldhoven, The Netherlands) has a team-best 16 assists.

Senior Moritz Bruns (Leer, Germany) has a .704 save percentage, seven wins, and three shutouts.

Bruns is second in goalkeeper wins (9), fifth in shutouts (4) and ninth in saves (105). Senior Samuel Duran (Marshall, Minn.) is the career leader in penalty kicks (5), tied for fifth in assists (10) and goals (17) and seventh in points (44). The Vikings are: first in goals (69), points (192), points/game (11.29), third in corner kicks/game (7.88), fourth in assists (54), fifth in assists/game (3.18) and shots on goal/game (10.71), sixth in shots/game (21.76), 93rd in shutout percentage (.412), and 96th in won-loss percentage (.676).

Individually, four players rank in the top 100.

Busch is first in goals (23), goals/game (1.64) and points/game (3.36), second in points (47) and shots on goal/game (3.14), 14th in shots/game (5.00), and 37th in game-winning goals (4),.

Oosterbosch is third in assists (14), fourth in assists/game (.88), 66th in points (26), and 75th in points/game (1.63).

Ayodi is 51st in assists (7) and 65th in assists/game (.44). Duran is 51st in assists (7) and 89th in assists/game (.41).
